A local non-profit organization needs more volunteers.
Assistance League provides clothing for disadvantaged students in San Luis Obispo County.
They are holding their first-ever membership drive Wednesday night.
Last year they donated more than 1,400 new wardrobes to students. Their goal is to reach the 14,000 children in San Luis Obispo County living below the poverty line.
The membership information meeting is at 5:30 p.m. at the San Luis Obispo Country Club.
