The Northern Santa Barbara County team beat San Luis Obispo County, 36-10 on Saturday night at Lompoc High School. NSB County was ahead 13-7 at the half and pulled away to improve to 3-0 in the annual Fellowship of Christian Athletes All Star football game.
St. Joseph running back Scotty Cusack was named Most Valuble player. Lompoc kicker Pepe Morales was named offensive player of the game for NSB County after making four field goals. Lompoc defensive lineman Brian Piemme was the NSB County defensive player of the game.
For San Luis Obispo County, running back Colton Madrigal from Paso Robles was named offensive player of the game. Madrigal scored the teams only touchdown with a minute to play in the first half. Mission Prep linebacker Andrew DeSesa was the defensive player of the game for SLO County.
The All Star game is for graduating seniors from schools in the Pac-7, Los Padres League and Mission Prep. It raises money for the school's athletic departments.
