OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) - Oakland police are looking for a group of teenagers who opened fire on a transit bus early Saturday.
KTVU-TV http://bit.ly/VDRAwT reports the four teens had had just gotten off an AC Transit bus at 55th Ave and International Blvd. around 12:45 a.m. when they started shooting at the bus as it pulled away.
AC Transit spokesman Clarence Johnson says none of the nine passengers on the bus were hit by gunfire but four were hurt when the bus driver accelerated after the back window of the bus was shattered.
Johnson did not have details of the injuries to the passengers, but said the injuries did not appear to be serious.
It's not known what sparked the shooting, but officers told KTVU that there were no arguments before the shooting.
Oakland police did not immediately respond to a request from The Associated Press for more information on the incident.
