WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama travels to North Carolina today to rally support for the economic proposals he unveiled last night during his State of the Union address.

Today the president kicks off three days of travel that'll also take him to Atlanta and Chicago.

Obama is asking Congress to focus on attracting jobs to the U.S., training American workers and boosting investments in infrastructure, manufacturing and clean energy.
