Officer-involved hit-and-run in San Luis Obispo

California Highway Patrol reports a hit and run with injuries involving a San Luis Obispo Police Department S.U.V. on Hwy. 101 in San Luis Obispo.

Officers on scene tell KSBY News a white pick up truck rear-ened the SLOPD S.U.V and then exited on the Madonna off-ramp. The SLOPD unit went into the guard rail.

The accident was reported at 6:30 Monday morning at the Madonna Road off-ramp. The Prado Road on-ramp was closed during the investigation. A tow truck removed the SLOPD vehicle.
