Officials investigating source of smoke in Santa Maria home

The Santa Barbara County Fire Department says they responded to a report of a structure fire in Santa Maria Sunday morning.
It happened around 10:52 a.m. in the 1100 block of Via Alta.
Officials say when firefighters arrived, the single-family home was filled with smoke, but they did not find a fire.
The cause of the smoke is under investigation.
