Officials looking for missing Nipomo man

The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office is looking for a missing person.

80-year-old Salvador "Chava" Garcia left his home around 9 a.m. Sunday morning. He lives on Bee Street in Nipomo.

He told his family he was going on a walk to the Saint Joseph Church and then to a swap meet.

Officials don't know if he ever made it to the church or swap meet.

His family says he sometimes gets confused.

He is 5'6", weighing 180 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing black jeans, a red and black flannel shirt, cowboy boots, and a white cowboy hat.

If you have any information, contact the Sheriff's Office at 781-4500.
