A spokesman for the City of Santa Maria says the State Water aqueduct is back online. It had been shut down over the weekend so a state water line leak could be fixed.
Officials thought the City of Santa Maria may have to use back-up water today and tomorrow from City wells and State Water from City reservoirs while the aqueduct was shut down. That back-up water was used Saturday and Sunday, but as of 10 a.m. this morning, the State Water was back online.
