Officials still searching for man suspected of shooting at woman in Nipomo

Officials with the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office are still looking for a man who they say shot at a woman in Nipomo Sunday. Officials say the driver shot at a woman walking in the area of Cyclone and Grande around 3:18 p.m. They say the driver then told the woman to get into his pickup truck. As the two drove away, officials say the driver also fired at witnesses. There have been no reports of any injuries. Officials say the driver is described as a Hispanic man around 40-years-old, about 5'4'' with a dark complexion and short curly hair. They say he was wearing a white button-up shirt and black pants. Detectives say the 90's model white Chevrolet 4x4 pickup truck has an extended cab with tinted windows, a gray rack near the rear cab window, and a "Z 71" sticker on the back. Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff's Office at 781-4550 or Crime Stoppers at 549-STOP.
