Olympic Flash: Thursday February 20

SPOILER ALERT: this story contains the current medal count.


Team USA leads the medal count with 23 medals: seven gold, five silver, and 11 bronze.

Russia is in second with 22 medals: six gold, nine silver, and seven bronze.

The Netherlands is in third with 22 medals: six gold, seven silver, and nine bronze.

The stakes could not be any higher Thursday. The two best women's hockey teams in the world face off for the Olympic gold medal. You can catch the game live on KSBY at 9:00 a.m. That's followed by men's freestyle skiing. Olympic Coverage runs until noon.

KSBY News airs at 5:00 p.m. followed by NBC Nightly News at 5:30 p.m. and KSBY News from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. The Olympic Zone runs from 7:30 to 8:00 p.m.

Olympics coverage continues from 8:00 to 11:30 p.m. with the gold medal final of women's figure skating, the halfpipe gold medal final of women's freestyle skiing, and the ski cross gold medal final of men's freestyle skiing.

KSBY News starts at 11:30 p.m. followed by the Tonight Show at midnight.

The large hill gold medal final for men's nordic combined goes from 1:00 to 2:00 a.m.
