Voter turnout is usually pretty good during presidential elections. And a new way to woo potential voters may drive up voter turnout even more this year.
For the first time Californians who are eligible to vote and have a valid driver's license or state ID can now register to vote and update their voter registration information online.
The program is run through the California Secretary of State's office. And already, more than 100,000 Californians registered to vote or updated their information. October 22 is the last day to register for this year's election November 6th.
