Question: I just started taking the pill and my skin has been a mess. Should I switch brands, or do you think that it will all even out soon?
Answer:Relax: Your skin is adjusting to the sudden dose of hormones. It takes at least three months for the hormones in the pill to stabilize, so if the condition persists, check with your gynecologist for an acne-preventing birth control pill.
