One arrest made in Lompoc DUI Checkpoint

The Lompoc Police Department cracked down on drunk driving last night, resulting in one DUI arrest.
The checkpoint was held in the 200 block of North H St. for Northbound traffic.
About 825 cars were screened.
17 drivers were evaluated for DUI, but were under the legal limit of .08.
Five drivers were cited for driving without a license, one of those drivers was also charged with DUI.
