Some students at Laguna Middle school in San Luis Obispo have a fun event to look forward to, thanks to KSBY and SLO Dental's One Class at a Time Grant.

The $250 grant was presented to the class taught by Holly Perez Thursday morning.

Her six students will now be able to participate in the Special Olympic games at Cuesta College coming up on May 4.

The money will be used for transportation.

"There will be over 400 athletes locally that are going to participate," Perez said, "With this grant, with this money, we will be able to provide transportation now for my class and other classes."
