KSBY and Century 21 Hometown Realty have been teaming up to help teachers across the central coast...one class at a time.
On Thursday, we went to Cabrillo High School in Lompoc.
That's where realtor Shea Hutchinson gave Scott Schaller's graphic arts class a big surprise.
"I'm here to present you a gift check for your planned class activity," said Mr. Hutchinson.
Scott Schaller responded by saying it was a wonderful gesture and "this is completely out of the blue. This is great for us."
Students design and create toys in an after-school program called "F-Studio."
The 250 dollar check will help with all the costs involved in making those toys.
The toys require special clay, paints, resins, and other materials to make the toys.
"This will go along way in helping every kid realize their dream of being able to do this, it's fantastic, thank you," said Mr. Schaller.
To get an application for your class,
go to the Hotspot on KSBY.com and click on "Your Family."
