A school in Santa Maria got quite a surprise today. It's all part of KSBY and Century 21 Hometown realty's efforts to help teachers across the Central Coast. . .one class at a time.
We visited Mr. Magni's classroom at Pioneer Valley High School. That's where Realtor Bob Hubbell presented the class with a $250 check to help them purchase some new technology for his AP Environmental Science class.
"Ah, this is great. It's very exciting. I applied for this grant to help my students. We've had a lot of budget cuts here in California public school and every little bit helps and I was very fired up this morning," said Riccardo Magni, head of the school's science department.
