Online meetings could soon outnumber personal meetings

Generation Xers meet with family and friends online as often as they do in person.
Researchers at the University of Michigan surveyed more than 3,000 Americans in their 30s.
They reported having nearly the same amount of face-to-face conversations as those online over the period of one month. Men were more likely to report personal meetings, while women spent more time networking electronically.
Experts expect online meetings to start outnumbering in-person meetings soon.
3,027 Generation Xers participated in the study.
