The Special Election is right around the corner to fill Lt. Gov. Abel Maldonado's 15th District senate seat, and if you want to vote by mail you only have a few more days to request a ballot.
Tuesday, August 10 is the last day to request a ballot be mailed to you.
If you miss the deadline you can pick up a vote-by-mail ballot on your own at the San Luis Obispo County Clerks office.
The office is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
On Saturday, August 14, the office will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
