The Land Conservancy of San Luis Obispo County is using art to promote the preservation of open space. It's hosting local Artist Laurel Sherrie' and her "Nature-Driven Art" show.
The Art After Dark show celebrating the start of the show happens Friday, November 2nd at the Land Conservancy office at 547 Marsh Street in San Luis Obispo.
Sherrie is a local artist who will have her exhibit on display from November 1 to December 27. Her oil paintings highlight landscapes of the Central Coast, including new work depicting the Open Spaces of San Luis Obispo.
The Land Conservancy of San Luis Obispo County is a local nonprofit land trust working to protect and restore land for the benefit of people and wildlife. Since 1984, The Land Conservancy has led collaborative efforts to permanently protect over 14,000 acres.
