Orchid Festival a big hit in Arroyo Grande

Spring is here and that means the Orchid show is back in Arroyo Grande.
The 12th annual Orchid Festival drew enthusiasts from all across the Central Coast. Vendors from Los Angeles, San Diego and even the Bay area also made the trip. This year's show featured nearly a dozen displays put on by vendors and the local orchid societies.
Demonstrations on orchid care were also available.
"Each year we have a theme and it's good because it fires the imagination and everybody has a little different interpretation of the theme each year," said Eric Holenda, the show chairman.
The show returns to the Central Coast next spring.
