Behind a dominant performance in doubles action, the Orcutt Academy girls tennis team beat Cabrillo 13-5 to advance to the second round of the Division 4 CIF playoffs.
Cabrillo singles players Kelsy Atkin,Rikky Patel and Julie de Venoge won five of their nine sets combined.
However, Orcutt Academy swept the nine doubles sets to clinch the victory. Maddie Seed and Maddie Ortiz won their first set 6-4, while Alex Lopez and Alyssa Leventis won 7-5, and Kasey Ortiz teamed up with Jordan Bashline to take their first set 6-0.
Orcutt Academy is the #2 seed in Division 4.
