A father in Oregon is accused of letting his 10-year-old son act as his designated driver.
Jose Torres made his first court appearance Monday after Oregon state police arrested him over the weekend with a blood alcohol level almost three times the legal limit.
Officials allege his 10-year-old son was driving the car while Torres was helping him steer.
Torres was able to bail out of jail and told reporters that he was not drunk and was just fulfilling his son's wish to learn to drive.
