Organization has more food, toys for families in need

Thanks to generous donations from the community, Grassroots II Inc. in San Luis Obispo says they are still accepting applications for locals to receive food and toys this holiday season.

Grassroots had previously said they did not have enough items this season, but the organization received many donations on Saturday, and now has toys and food again for families in need.

To submit an application, visit them in downtown San Luis Obispo at 205 Higuera Street or call them at 544-2333.

They will be open on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
