Despite another double-double from sophomore Alan Williams, the UC Santa Barbara men's basketball team lost 80-62 at Pacific on Thursday night. The Tigers hit 13 3-pointers on 28 attempts. Pacific committed just five turnovers in the victory.
Tony Gill, who was 6 for 6 from the field, led the Tigers with 17 points. Travis Fulton and Ross Rivera tallied 11 points each. Pacific improved to 2-1 in Big West play and 8-7 overall.
Williams led UCSB with 22 points and 12 rebounds, and Kyle Boswell added 15 points off the bench.
The Gauchos fell to 1-3 in conference play and 5-10 overall.
Gill hit three-straight shots in the early going to give Pacific the lead for good 12-8. A 14-3 run that featured three 3-pointers helped Pacific extend the lead to 32-18.
