Panga boat found near El Capitan State Beach

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY - Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Deputies are helping State Parks investigate a panga boat found near El Capitan State Beach.

At least 10 people are in custody, and they are looking for others who have fled the area.

Right now, the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Department, Border Patrol, the Coast Guard, and the Highway Patrol are working on the incident.

There are reports that CHP is using a helicopter to look for packages in the water.
