Eleven of 14 people suspected of attempting to smuggle drugs into the Central Coast appeared in court Thursday.
Deputies patrolling the coastline spotted the suspects unloading a panga boat at Montana De Oro State Park on May 29.
The suspects were stopped on Los Osos Valley Road after the boat was discovered.
Three of the suspects pleaded no contest Thursday to conspiracy to transport marijuana and offload marijuana from a panga boat.
They are eligible for two years in county jail or prison followed by possible deportation following time served.
One other person pleaded no contest to conspiracy to transport marijuana and being in possession of a firearm.
They are facing three years in county jail or prison and possible deportation following time served.
They will be sentenced next month.
The seven other suspects will be going to trial on Aug. 6.
Three other suspects have already pleaded guilty and will be sentenced next month.
