After two years of work, an old park in Pismo Beach is showing off its' new look for your family.
Ira Lease Park isn't officially open just yet, but all the construction tape is now down, so people can stop by and check it out. Picnic tables, bar-b-que areas, swings , and new facilities are all part of it. Early reviews from residents like what's been done.
Gilbert Ortiz who's lived in the area for the past 10 years, stopped by today to take his lunch break here. "It really makes, and improves the area. It doesn't look so run down now. They'll be a lot more people probably using it now, especially in the summertime. I'll probably be lucky to find a parking spot to take lunch at."
The official grand reopening of Ira Lease Park will occur on Tuesday Nov. 17th at 4pm with a ribbon cutting ceremony. The park is located on Dolliver St.
