Paso Robles celebrates its wines at the 31st Annual Wine Festival

Locals were getting a taste of the Central Coast Saturday.

It was the 31st Annual Wine Festival in Paso Robles. The event features wine from over 60 local wineries.

Tastings are even organized by the region the wine came from.

Guests could also enjoy food and live music.

"This is Paso's biggest festival of wine and wine country. This is really our big celebration to bring out some new releases, to invite people into our homes, our wineries, and celebrate all that is Paso Robles," said Chris Taranto, the Communications Director for the event.

A winemaker seminar was also held Saturday morning. Guests could learn more about what it takes to create wine, and the winemakers also explained what makes Paso Robles wines unique.

A number of wineries are offering deals this weekend. Just look for the festival fan icon and show your Wine Festival ticket when you walk in.
