A man suspected of robbing a Paso Robles gas station is in the San Luis Obispo County Jail after he turned himself into the Fresno Police Department Monday afternoon.

Police say Charles Donald Wheeler of Paso Robles entered the Eagle Energy Gas Station Sunday and robbed the on-duty cashier.

Wheeler surrended himself to the Fresno Police Department where he was picked up by Detectives from the Paso Robles Police Department.

No weapons were used in the robbery and no injuries were reported.

Wheeler is charged with a single count of robbery.
