Paso Robles man, teens arrested after attempted burglary

An attempted burglary in a Paso Robles neighborhood lands three people in jail.

Paso Robles police officers responded to the 1500 block of Fairway Drive just before 10 p.m. Wednesday night.

A woman there said she saw people in her home and believed they were trying to steal from her.

Police arrested 25-year-old Phillip Mena of Paso Robles in connection with the crime, and with the help of police service dogs, officers found two other suspects who had run to a nearby golf course.

Two teenagers, 13 and 14 years old, were arrested in connection with the crime.

Mena was booked in San Luis Obispo County Jail on charges of burglary, conspiracy, child endangerment, trespassing and probation violation.
