Paso Robles Mud Run raises funds for Hearst Cancer Resource Center

The first ever Mud Run and Music Festival was held Saturday at Ravine Waterpark in Paso Robles.

Participants of all ages made their way through dozens of military style obstacles on a 5K course. Some of the obstacles included swimming through puddles of mud and walking on a tight rope.

"Basically, we're hoping for family fun and entertainment. We got the music going, we got the beer, we got the families, we got the waterpark open, so everything that a family could hope for," said Steven Gifford, the Manager of Ravine Waterpark.

Some of the KSBY team even joined in on the fun.

Proceeds benefit the Hearst Cancer Resource Center at French Hospital.
