Paso Robles police officers are looking for a man who robbed a donut shop at gunpoint late Monday night.

It happened just before 10:00p.m. Monday at DK's Donuts, located in the 1700 block of Spring St. in Paso Robles.

Officers say the suspect came into the store, pulled out a gun and demanded cash. He got away with an undisclosed amount of money, but not before he pistol-whipped the employee.

There's not much in a way of a description of the suspect. Officers say he is a white male adult, who was wearing dark clothing at the time of the robbery. They also say he had some sort of scarf covering his face.

As for the clerk, officers say he denied medical attention and should be okay.
