Paso Robles Police arrest four people after serving narcotics-related search warrant

Paso Robles police arrested four people Wednesday after they served a narcotics-related search warrant at a home in Atascadero.

Police served the warrant at a home in the 8900 block of Coromar Avenue in Atascadero.

Police arrested four people and seized one gram of heroin, which they say was packaged for sale. They also found prescription drugs packaged for sale, eight grams of marijuana, digital gram scales, and packaging materials.

Police arrested 18-year-old Michelle Marie Chavez of Paso Robles for possession of narcotics for sale and possession of marijuana, 21-year-old Collin Earl Higbee of Atascadero for being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, a 17-year-old from Atascadero for being under the influence of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, and 29-year-old Gary David Carreno from Atascadero for an outstanding arrest warrant.

Carreno and Chavez were booked in the San Luis Obispo County Jail. Higbee was released after agreeing to appear in court. The 17-year-old was released to a guardian.
