Paso Robles police investigate shooting

The Paso Robles Police Department is investigating an apparent gang-related shooting. It happened at about 12:30 am on Sunday in the 2800 block of Oak Street. Police say officers found a parked car and a home had been hit by several shots. A 21-year-old man told officers he was the target of the shooting but was not injured. Officers say the man was unable to identify who shot at him, but witnesses reported seeing a black car with four men inside exchanging words with the victim about 15 minutes before the shooting. The victim's family reportedly told officers that he is affiliated with a gang. Anyone with information about this shooting is asked to call the Paso Robles Police Department at (805) 237-6464. Anonymous tips can be called in to Crime Stoppers at (805) 549-STOP, or you can text "SLOTIPS" plus your message to CRIMES (274637).
