Paso Robles Police are investigating a shooting that happened early Friday morning.
Police were called out to the 3000 block of Spring Street just after 1:20 a.m. Friday. Callers reported that they heard shots and saw two men run away from the scene. Officers arrived and found an 18-year-old man from Arroyo Grande who had been shot in the arm and abdomen. He was treated at the scene and then taken to a local hospital.
Police are trying to determine a motive for the shooting and whether or not it was gang related. Investigators haven't released any information on who the shooter was.
