A burglar takes off running after a middle school student catches him in the act.

The incident happened just after 2 p.m. Wednesday in the 700 block of Angus Street. Officers say the boy had just gotten home from school when he found a burglar in his house. Nothing was taken and nobody was hurt.

KSBY spoke with a girl who is friends with the boy whose home was burglarized. She said he was pretty shaken up, but seems to be doing okay.

The suspect is described as a man wearing a black hooded sweatshirt. He is 6 feet tall and about 180 pounds. Anyone with information should contact the Paso Robles Police Department.
