Paso Robles Police Officers remind city residents to lock their car doors, after they've seen an increase in vehicle burglaries on the east side of the city.

Officers say many of the burglaries have happened in the nighttime hours, and almost all victims say they've left their vehicles unlocked.

The department says, as always, to call officers if residents see any suspicious people or activity. In emergency situations, call 911; for non-emergencies call 805-237-6464.
