Paso Robles Police are warning parents and guardians about a possible planned child abduction.
Police say a tipster reported that a man was planning to kidnap a school-aged boy from a school in Paso Robles sometime before Christmas. The man had allegedly been scouting various schools in the area as part of the plan.
Police say they've increased security at all of the schools in the area.
The man is described as being in his 60s, about 5'11", 220 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes. He was also reportedly driving a white Ford pickup truck with a camper shell.
Anyone with information is asked to call Paso Robles Police or Crime Stoppers at 549-STOP.
