Paso Robles will try again to hire a new police chief.
At the city council meeting last night, the council re-approved a citizen panel for the candidate interviews.
They will meet with potential candidates on April fifth.
The panel picked a candidate last year after an extensive search but withdrew his name during the final background check process citing personal reasons.
Paso Robles needs a new chief because Lisa Solomon resigned last March over a pending lawsuit against the city which has since been dismissed.
