Passenger in plane crash at Cal Poly dies

The Paso Robles man hurt in Thursday's plane crash at Cal Poly has died.

Obbie Atkinson, 86, was a passenger in the single-engine plane that went down Thursday morning. A close friend says he passed away around 9:30 Friday night.

Jeff Welles, the pilot, was released from the hospital Thursday night.
