Passenger in suspected DUI crash dies from injuries

The Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Department says the woman who was the passenger in a suspected DUI crash on Highway 246 between Buellton and Solvang has died from her injuries.
Deputies say Jenny Clark died Monday at Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara.
She was in critical condition after she was air-lifted to the hospital with major head trauma.
36-year-old Benjamin Bettencourt of Santa Ynez is facing charges of driving under the influence.
Deputies say he veered off the road the night of November 24, 2012 and crashed his car into a tree.
