People in Paso Robles were seeing red Saturday.
They dressed in red and rallied in front of Bauer Speck Elementary School Saturday afternoon.
Their goal is to raise awareness about the many ways budget cuts affect education, and how they will continue affecting children, schools and the community.
Another source of controversy is a proposal that would move a continuation school onto half of the Bauer Speck Elementary campus.
"A lot of people weren't even aware of the possible cuts, or the possible closure of this school, so it's very important, very important," said Aaron Dilbreck, president of school site council.
Around 100 parents, students, teachers and nearby homeowners showed up for the rally.
