People are waiting for stores to open across the country for waht's considered the biggest shopping day of the year.
People began lining up at the Best Buy in San Luis Obispo Thursday afternoon. The store won't open its doors until 5:00a.m. Friday. But, at 3:00a.m., Best Buy employees will start handing out vouchers to people in line.
Many are counting on saving some major green in exchange for sacrificing sleep.
Some have even calculated exactly how much they'll be saving. "we did do the math," said Amy Balch, Morro Bay resident. "saving about $1,000 on a 46-inch flatscreen. We're saving about $330 on a laptop. It's good, I'll stay out here for sure to save a grand."
Best Buy is known for offering deep discounts on its so-called doorbuster items.
