RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, Calif. (AP) - Search crews who have been looking for a woman missing since Sunday in a Southern California forest are rescuing a person from a rugged area but the person's identity has not been confirmed.
TV news helicopters over the Trabuco Canyon area of Cleveland National Forest are showing two rescuers tending to a person in on a very steep, rocky slope at noon Thursday.
Eighteen-year-old Kyndall Jack has been missing after setting out on a hike with 19-year-old companion Nicolas Cendoya, who made a 911 call for help Sunday night. He was found in very serious condition from dehydration Wednesday night.
Hospital officials say he's doing better Thursday but his condition is still serious.
