As of 12:30 Monday morning, 30,000 people are still without power.
Crews are on scene and hope to restore power soon.
According to the Santa Barbara County Office of Emergency Management, The California Utilities Emergency Association has advised that the PG&E power outage was due to a "flash" at a sub-station at Morro Bay, resulting in a loss of transmission to several sub-stations.
