Have you ever heard of pickleball or do you know how to play?
It's a sport that uses paddles, is similar to tennis and badminton, and can be played indoors or outdoors.
A group in Paso Robles plays on an outdoor court at Centennial Park on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The drop-in fee is $3.
Another group meets on an indoor court at Colony Park in Atascadero and the City of Santa Maria even held a free pickleball clinic last month.
You can also play in Cambria.
Organizers in Paso Robles hope their court will become the first permanent pickleball court on the Central Coast.
