Pismo Beach is joining Grover Beach by asking experts to wait before taking action against air pollution on the Nipomo Mesa.
A recent study shows, air pollution on the Nipomo Mesa exceeds state standards. And it could have to do with nearby ATV's at the Oceano Dunes.
Tuesday night, the Pismo Beach City Council decided to send a letter to the Air Pollution Control District, asking that it takes no action quite yet.
It thinks California State Parks should have a chance to respond with its own Environmental Impact Report before the county makes any moves. Grover Beach made the same decision Monday night.
