After a City Council meeting that lasted until nearly 2:30 in the morning, the Pismo Beach City Council decided to send most of the plans related to the Spanish Springs development back to the developer to make changes.
Spanish Springs is a proposed resort and residential development in Price Canyon. It would also include a golf course and vineyards.
The Council did certify the Environmental Impact Report and approved updates to the Pismo Beach General Plan; however, action was delayed on the Spanish Springs Specific Plan and two other related documents.
The Council wants the developer to work with the developer of an adjoining property on the plans and come to an agreement about roads, water and other issues.
A date for the Council to reconsider those plans has not yet been set.
The approval process for Spanish Springs has been going on since 2008.
