A local restaurant is spreading some Christmas cheer. To help those in need or those people alone this holiday season, Brad's restaurant in Pismo Beach is hosting a special Christmas meal. It's their first year to host this event.
Between one o'clock in the afternoon and six o'clock at night on Christmas, they're opening their doors to the public and providing free food. The restaurant is a family owned business. They said they feel very fortunate despite the economy.
Steve Becker, a family member, said, "We're pretty blessed this year. I know the restaurant has had one of its best years ever. It's my family's way of giving back to the community that has treated us so well." They said no one will be turned away. The restaurant is located on the 200-block of Pomeroy Avenue.
