Pismo Beach is asking for donations to help the city take ownership of the Chapman Estate.
The city says money given to the fund will only be used for the estate.
Donations are tax deductible.
The funds will help pay for the planning, maintenance and improvement of the Chapman Estate.
The property was previously owned by Clifford Chapman.
Chapman died in June 2012 and he willed the property to the city.
The Pismo Beach City Council voted unanimously to accept the estate at a meeting on December 3rd.
